Last week, on Thursday, we began our US MTK training in Brooklyn, NY. We recreated 8 recipes from the India and Mexico cookbooks. Our recreated dishes were taught by our Culinary Lead, Rebecca Johnson, and made by our 2 Brooklyn NY Champions, Colette and Verda.
From India we made the Chikki, Spinach Cutlet, Chana Sabzi, Pancake, and Millet Upma. From Mexico we were treated with the Vegetable Soup and Legume, Broccoli, and String Bean Medley. Our next training is this Friday, 16 June, and we will learn more dishes from Mexico as well as our US recipes.
